We have a work-simulated setup here at Sheer Workplace Training, and we are meant to empower you with the knowledge and abilities to operate safely in any height circumstance. This training is intended for workers in General Construction, Mining, Building Sites, Factories, and any other work environment where a fall from one level to another is feasible. The training covers all areas of safety when working at heights course in Brisbane, from initial risk assessment through risk avoidance.

You will understand the dangers connected with equipment such as ladders and scaffolding and will be able to properly mitigate such hazards. Training materials, resources, and safety equipment are all provided. Working towards your working at heights ticket with a team of friendly, fully accredited assessors and trainers with years of expertise will be put to good use at Sheer Workplace Training. On completion of the course, you will get a nationally recognized statement of accomplishment certificate as well as a picture ID card. Working at heights in the resources and infrastructure industries is covered in this unit. It includes planning and preparing, gaining access to and checking equipment, performing work at heights, and cleaning up and maintaining.

Our courses are available seven days a week, allowing you to schedule them around your work schedule. The lessons will continue until you have achieved proficiency in the standard and can safely and professionally operate a roller. This way, you'll leave our world-class training center with all of the credentials you'll need to get started.

There is a theory component and a practical training component to this course. The theoretical portion will consist of watching safety and instructional videos, as well as reading. After you've finished the theory, you'll be given a training plan and assignments to practice.

Our practical training location is entirely work-simulated and built to closely match a modern Jobsite as possible, ensuring that you learn the required skills in the most conducive atmosphere possible. After you've completed the training, you'll go on to the examinations (both theoretical and practical), and once you've passed them, you'll be considered competent in all areas.

This unit is also available with VOC (verification of competency) and RPL (recognition of prior learning) courses. Students interested in roller training must be of the required minimum age at the time of training (WH&S requirement)

You must apply to Workplace Health and Safety Queensland for a high-risk work (HRW) license QLD. HRW permits are renewable. A person who wants to get an HRW license must do formal training, informal training, and formal assessment. Interstate candidates must finish their training and assessments in Queensland and apply for an HRW license there.
